Harvey Cohen, a hired driver, picks up Penny Baker after she gets into an accident. As they wait for help to arrive, Harvey rescues Penny from her restraints and begins to develop feelings for her. Penny starts to fall in love with Harvey as well, but their relationship is put to the test when Ike White deceives Penny at an auction, trying to get her to bid on a worthless rock. Harvey intervenes, revealing the scam and winning a rare gemstone instead.
